When it comes to making memories, I sure we can all agree that this is an important part in our lives. Making the most of everyday, capturing fun in the garden, on family adventures, celebrating milestones and holidays. Whilst these memories are made we often take a photo or two to help us recall the moment at a later date,

Those photos might be shared with loved ones on Facebook or via WhatsApp but usually only one or two from the day are shared. The rest are hidden away on our camera rolls or drives until we go in search for something. Suddenly reminded of the time when you visited a new place or a graduation was celebrated etc.

Although we are all good at creating memories it’s just as important to share those memories. With life in lockdown and family and friends apart now more than ever do we need to remember the memories we have made with each other. We have been making an effort to share our memories utilising the NIXPLAY Smart Photo Frame.

  • Susan Willshee June 24, 2020 at 9:48 pm

I put all of our memories on facebook. I learnt just how important it is to record our memories when 2 years ago I suddenly developed epilepsy with a twist. The twist is that when I have a series of fits, my memory is completely wiped. I’ve lost memories of major holidays, family births, weddings and funerals and ordinary veryday things.
The only memories I have of these things are either things that my family have told me, or seeing photos I’ve posted on social media.
So when I share photos on facebook, I’m not really sharing them to other people, I’m sharing them to my future self for in case when I have my next series of episodes I lose these memories too.

  • Kelly Wheelhouse June 25, 2020 at 12:34 pm

Everytime we go somewhere new or fun, we grab some leaflets, or whatever like that, and chuck them in a carrier bag, then once a year we get a scrapbook, glue and stick them in!

  • Patricia Avery June 27, 2020 at 9:33 pm

Photo albums are still important to me as are my digital photos. When on holiday I always keep a day by day journal. Cards from hubby, children and grandchildren are all sorted and filed away by occasion. Things from my parents and in-laws are either on display or are boxed with notes about the items.
