Unless you have been living under a rock you will know that the Royal Wedding took place yesterday. To celebrate this the children’s school held a ‘dress to impress’ non-school uniform on Friday. Encouraging the children (and teachers too) to dress up for a picnic party to celebrate and congratulate Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

This was quite a special occasion as the school don’t normally get involved with National celebrations. So the children were very excited – Roo more so as she finally fits into a dress we bought two years ago! and looked every inch the princess. Opting to raise money for one of Harry and Meghan’s chosen charities, Scotty’s Little Soldiers helping bereaved British Forces children.… View Post

A Royal Invitation to Peppa Pig World

A Royal Invitation to Peppa Pig World

Peppa Pig, along with her family and friends have been part of our family life for around 10 years.  With Roo discovering the quirky tunes, songs and comedic actions that they all get up to.  Over the years we have taken both Roo and Tigger to Peppa Pig World just north of Southampton.  With each of them loving the rides, the atmosphere and all things Peppa Pig.  Up until now we hadn’t taken Piglet, however, it was on our bucket list of places to visit this year.… View Post

A Postcard From… Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary

Take our visit to Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary, he was first in line to hold the millipede. Carefully sitting down, holding his hands out and welcoming the animal of many legs into his comfort zone. Just double checking with the ranger that it wouldn’t bite him, then he was happy.… View Post

Winnie The Pooh Exhibition at The V&A Museum, London

Given the nicknames of my children, it will come as no surprise that Winnie The Pooh holds a special place in my heart.  Although I have always loved the stories from AA Milne, which have been beautifully brought to life by the illustrations from EH Shephard. The continued affection for the adventures and characters stems from a gift that my dad bought me as a young girl.… View Post
