PAW Patrol is one of those animated TV series that happened upon our lives and I can’t quite remember how, when or why. However, it is one that Piglet especially loves to watch, with her older siblings often sitting watching alongside her – although if you ask them if there are enjoying the episode they deny all knowledge of watching.
Alongside the popular TV series the PAW Patrol pups have a collection of toys, games and even video games to bring the fun to life for children. With the new PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay making its way onto Christmas and birthday wishlists.

Colouring fun
Whether you are looking to slow the pace down a little or maybe have a colouring contest, printing off PAW Patrol Might Pups colouring sheets is a great activity. Young and old can get involved with the colouring fun, although if you too have a Piglet at home, ensure you select the right colours for the pups as she wasn’t impressed that I coloured Skye purple instead of pink… oops!
PAW Patrol Scavenger Hunt
Given that PAW Patrol has been part of our lives for the last few years we have amassed a collection of PAW Patrol toys. Utilising the different figures from the playsets as well as the individual ones we have picked up along the way. We hide these around the house and had the children go in search of them – we added a little sticker on the bottom of each one with a number so that we knew when the children had collected them all. Plus they were able to place them in number order afterwards.
PAW Patrol Puzzle Fun
Although our children live in a technological age, there is something fun about bringing out the puzzles and having fun. Igniting that competitive spirit and eagerness to win amongst the family. Whether it is jigsaw puzzles, card games, zip lines and ladders or dominoes.

What we thought
Piglet is just starting her gaming journey, whilst she is usually watching her older siblings play games on the Nintendo Switch or Xbox One. When I explained that the PAW Patrol Might Pups video game was one that she could get involved with she was thrilled to finally get her hands on the controller. Given that she is new to the world of gaming each of her siblings sat with her and guided her through the first few missions and mini-games. Soon picking up the controls and buttons she needs to press in order to collect bones and badges.
I have to confess to sitting back and watching her with awe as she navigates the game with ease now. Whilst some of the challenges are still a little tricky for her, it is something that will come with each new try. Her favourite mini-game is Pup Pup Boogie, which she is amazing at, hitting the relevant button at the right time.
My only niggle with the game is the loading screen between missions, mini-games etc. this does take a little whilst to switch between activities and whilst Piglet is usually OK to sit and wait I can see that she’s eager to carry on with the game.
