It’s that time of the year again when for children it is all about having six weeks of freedom. For parents, on the other hand it is not only the thought of how to keep them occupied for six ling weeks but how they are going to afford the new uniform required for the new school year in September.
This Aldi launched their one-price-fits-all school uniform today, making them the lowest priced UK supermarket school uniform stockist.
Here’s how Aldi stacks up against its competitors*:

Roo was sent a selection of uniform for the new school year, including a padded girls jacket £9.99, a pack of two girls plain polo shirts £1.25, girls knitted cardigan £2.99 and girls trousers £1.50. I was actually quite surprised at the quality of the items. As they are so low in price I imagined them to feel rough and poor fabric quality, the coat especially was much better than anticipated. With reflective strips along the edge of the pockets and hood, an elasticated waist and both a zip and popper fastening ensuring that Roo stays as warm as possible.
