There were two reasons why I excited to find a delivery of Pound Puppies waiting on my doorstep. Firstly, as a child of the ’80s (yes, I’m really that old – but obviously don’t look it), I can remember Pound Puppies the first time around. One of those iconic must-have 80’s toys that I never managed to own – I’m obviously completely fine about, it’s fine!… honestly!
Secondly, whilst all the children would love for us to get a dog. Piglet is the one who is most vocal about it. Longing for the companionship that comes from the owner/pet relationship. I joke that I have three children why would I need pets but the honest answer is that we are not in a place for a dog. We travel a lot and have nobody who is able to assist us with a dog whilst we are away etc. So a Pound Puppy delivery offers Piglet a substitute pet ownership deal until we are able to welcome a real dog into our family.

Welcome home Pound Puppies
After deciding to be a good parent and not keeping the Pound Puppies for myself Ieft them snuggles on Piglet’s bed ready for her to find them. Her reaction was priceless, going completely wild and hugging the Pound Puppies so hard – might be a good thing that these are a practice run for a real dog.
Gathering them up in her arms to show them around the house and talked to them through everything that she was doing. Explaining to her that she needed to provide a safe and loving home for her new Pound Puppies, she looked up for the challenge. From naming each of the puppies and deciding where they would sleep
