Peter Rabbit and Mr McGregor’s vegetable garden! + #Giveaway

As a little girl, I can remember the stories of Peter Rabbit being told by my mum.  Beatrix Potter held a special place in her heart. Especially as my older sister was called Jemima Puddle Duck for two weeks until my parents could think of a suitable name for her. I think they should have stuck with it, it would have suited her.

Over the last few years, Peter Rabbit has grown in popularity with a children’s TV series, a Royal Mint coin collection and now a new feature-length film.

Peter Rabbit Movie

In PETER RABBIT™, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers now takes on the starring role of his own contemporary comedy. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr Thomas McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as their fight to gain control of McGregor’s coveted vegetable garden and the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne) extends to the Lake District and London.

James Corden voices the character of Peter with a playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail.

PETER RABBIT™ is released in cinemas across the UK today.

The Tales of Peter Rabbit Book

The Tale of Peter Rabbit was first published by Frederick Warne in 1902 and endures as Beatrix Potter’s most popular and well-loved tale. It tells the story of a very mischievous rabbit and the trouble he encounters in Mr McGregor’s vegetable garden!

The Tale of Peter Rabbit is number one in Beatrix Potter’s series of 23 little books and a great way to introduce the stories to little ones
