Insurance, Counting On and Wild #LittleLoves

August 25, 2017

I have absolutely no idea where this week has gone. I’m not sure if it is my inability to keep track of the days at the moment or whether we are just having too much fun to notice the days slipping past – let’s go with that last one!

Read

The extent of my reading abilities this week have been reading through car insurance documents and quotations as it is that dreaded time of the year again. Although I do have to confess to feeling quite proud of myself as I managed to get £140 taken off our renewal quote – not bad for a 10-minute phone call to our current providers.

Watched

With a busy week, I’ve not had the opportunity to sit down and watch any films or indulge is a Netflix series. I have, however, managed to catch the wedding episode of Counting On. For those of you who don’t know what Counting On is, it is the follow-up series to the Duggars (an American family with 19 children). Following the lives of the older Duggar girls as they start courting, marriage and having children. Having watched the Duggars since there were only 14 children instead of the now 19, I have to confess it is lovely to see them now growing up and leaving the nest. This weeks show was dedicated to Jinger who was getting married to Jeremy – oh her wedding dress was absolutely stunning.

Heard

With lots of days out and trips in the car this week it has been back to my trusty iPod to keep us entertained. Although with Roo and one of her best friends in the car on Tuesday we had the delight of the Descendants soundtrack on the way to Chessington – such enjoyment! not!

Made

Plans, lots and lots of plans. Mr. Boo is off this coming week so I have been busy planning our family adventures. With travel to arrange, tickets to book and food to get ready for picnics.

Wore

I adore Joules clothing, this summer I have practically been living in various Nessa t-shirts. So when I spotted a Joules Kids sale in a local department store I was thrilled to pick up a couple of t-shirts for Roo. I was a little unsure that this pink t-shirt was going to be too bright and bold for her, however, the floral ‘Wild’ emblazoned across the front swung it for me – and I’m so pleased I bought it as it really does suit her.

Lastly

I’ve been working so hard over the summer juggling days out, activities and time with the children all whilst trying to work at the same time. On the whole, I can’t complain, but it is time for my out of office to be switched on and let the emails wait – there is family fun to be had!
