The Blog Your Heart Out meme that I have seen and enjoyed on several blogs has finally made its way over to Boo Roo and Tigger Too after the lovely The Ramblings of a Formerly Rock N Roll Mum kindly tagged me.
So what is the Blog Your Heart Out meme all about? It involves me answering five questions about blogging and the tagging a couple of bloggers to pass on the meme.
Who/What encouraged you to start blogging?
When I was on maternity leave with Tigger I read a lot of blogs. I love reading about other people’s live, seeing what hints and tips I can gain and reading reviews on products that they have tried. When it came time to return to work I decided to start my own blog to record life as a working mum as many of the blogs I had read were about stay at home mums.
How did you choose what to blog about?
Originally I started blogging about the trials of family life, the nightmare of childcare and the things we got up to. Boo Roo and Tigger Too has evolved into sharing product reviews, days out and other bits and pieces. Ideally I’d love to get back to my roots and share more about out daily lives but often feel restricted as I know people are actually reading this whereas when I started I was talking to myself (if that makes sense).
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I have no idea what I want to do with my life, I have no grand career plans. Mr Boo has always had a career whereas I have a job, I never wanted to get a full-on job as I knew that I would be leaving to have children early so the plan is to get a career once Tigger is at full time school… I just have no idea what that is going to be.
What three words describe your style?
Approachable, helpful and procrastinating (must work on that last one)
What do you love to do when you are not blogging?
I love films, whether I am watching the latest blockbuster, catching up on an old favourite or watching Pride & Prejudice (again). I can find myself lost in another world for an hour or two… bliss.
So that is me and my blogging, time to tag a couple of others to carry the Blog Your Heart Out baton forward…
If you haven’t been tagged, don’t worry why not take up the challenge yourself and share your blogging story with your readers.
