Warner Bros. Got UV covered

Roo has gone away for two weeks to stay with her Granny. Along with her clothes, Lucy Bear and a few toys I usually pack some DVDs to keep her entertained.

Not this time, Warner Bros. have come to my rescue with UV. With the ability to store Roo’s favourite cartoons and movies online. Granny can simply download them onto her laptop, phone or tablet to keep Roo entertained. At last no more lost or damaged discs.

Quote taken from Flixster:

Flixster, the #1 movie discovery application, now lets you stream movies and TV shows from the cloud with UltraViolet — the new industry-backed format that will allow you to access movies and TV shows you own from any compatible service.

With Flixster, you can enjoy your UltraViolet Digital Copy in more ways, on more devices, and in more places than ever before!

Some of the best bits about UltraViolet.
  • The best thing about UV is that it enables you to future proof your film collection, so if discs get scratched, snapped or drawn on by little ones, you are still able to watch the film again and again
  • You can access the digital copy with or without an internet connection with the option of being able to stream or download the films
  • You’re able to stream and download the film to a huge range of devices meaning you can pretty much watch the film anywhere on anything! It really does give you much more freedom to watch your favourite TV programs and films.
There are currently 54 titles available via UltraViolet, however I am sure that this number will soon increase to include more and more titles.

I can see this coming in handy when we go on holiday with the children plus our niece.  Fabulous to be able to keep them entertained whilst holed up in a hotel room.

Disclosure Policy: I was sent two DVDs in order to try out the UV service. I was not instructed what to write, my thoughts and opinions are my own.
