Every human being works best when they have a set of guidelines to follow when spending time within various online groups. Create a file that features some guidelines for people commenting or posting new threads within your group. You may even consider having new members on moderation until you’ve seen that they have an understanding of the guidelines for your group.

Be Thoughtful

    Great post for those wanting to start a Facebook group, there is a lot to think about but the main thing is the rules so everyone knows what they can and cant do and makes admins job much easier

    Running a large group can be a lot of hard work for sure! Sometimes you have to be harsh when it comes to the rules, I sometimes feel like a broken record saying the same thing over and over.

    I run a couple of groups and my main worry is the keyboard warriors. Some type things without thinking anf it quickly descends into chaos
