How to Avoid Blogger Burnout

If you’re experiencing some of the signs of blogger burnout, have hope! You can work to get rid of blogger burnout and avoid it altogether with a few simple adjustments.

Post Less Often

There’s no rule that says you have to publish content every single day. Take a step back and only post a few times a week. Make sure your content is still optimised for search engines and engaging in context. You won’t be minimising the quality but rather working to minimise your workload.

Unplug More Often

Start making it a point to detach from your computer and other electronic devices that you normally associate with your blogging life. This will help you relax during non-work hours and successfully avoid the burnout that comes from focusing on blogging too much during the day.

Remember Your Goal

Think about what your ultimate goal was and is for blogging. I’m sure it wasn’t to be burnt out all of the time. Consider your blogging goals and make a plan to avoid burnout. This could be something as simple as creating a schedule to abide by every day to keep proper work and life balance.

Blogging shouldn’t consume every moment of your day. This is your career, something that helps bring money into your house. Start treating your blogging life as you would a job outside of the home. Always step back and reevaluate how you can adjust your daily blogging tasks to ensure that you avoid burnout.
