There is no doubting that we love a family film night, it is something that we try to do at least once a week. Although it’s not always easy to get everyone together depending on what work and activities are taking place that given week. But we do feel it’s important to come together and enjoy some quality family time together.
Over the summer What The Dad Said took Tigger to see The Angry Birds Movie 2 at the cinema, one that they both thought was fun. Given that we all love the slapstick comedy of the Angry Birds franchise, we were pleased to see that it was finally released on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download in time for Christmas. Perfect for a family film night!

Having fun with an Angry Birds Movie 2 Pinata!
Ahead of the family film night fun, the children were kindly sent an Angry Birds piñata. A fun way to start the Angry Birds antics before seeing the new storyline unfold. Both Tigger and Piglet were so excited to see this hanging at the bottom of the stairs – although Piglet looks a little menacing holding the piñata stick! Needless to say, I ensured everyone was stood well back before she took and swings.
Although we have had fun with piñatas at parties, I don’t think we’ve ever had one at home, so this added to the fun of bashing it to reveal the hidden treasure.
Starting off with a few taps, the children soon got into the swing of things and before we knew it a hole had started to form. With a peek inside at the goodies the children were so excited to see what Angry Birds gifts and accessories they could spot. A few more whacks and the piñata revealed a bounty of Angry Birds items.
