Dear Cloe
Can you believe that the summer holidays are over? It doesn’t feel like I should be getting ready for back to school in a few days and that our summer of fun is over.
I was so happy to find you sitting in my room with a little note that said,
Take me on your summer adventures
I go where you go
Together we’ll have a blast
Together we’ll have a #SummerofBratz
The summer holiday might be over but we have had so much fun. I’ve carried you in the car, I’ve held your hand as we have taken rides together and you happily sit inside Piglet’s changing bag when you’re tired from having too much fun.
Along the way we’ve enjoyed days at home chilling out watching TV. You’ve watched me perfect my dance routines and listened to me sing my favourite songs. In case you were missing your friends we watched Bratz on Netflix and I brought out my Bratz dolls for us to play with.
We’ve enjoyed days in the garden, with adventures on the slide, football and you even tried swingball (I think we’ll both agree that you didn’t enjoy that much). You’ve watched as I helped Daddy cut the grass and as I helped spread out the new gravel along the path.
It’s the days out that you have enjoyed the most. Jumping in the car and heading off to parks, theme parks and to visit friends. It’s been a packed summer with visits to Thorpe Park, completing the #Wondroid scavenger hunt and finishing off with one last summer trip to Drayton Manor tomorrow.
I’ve loved having you as part of my summer, someone to share our picnics with, someone to chat to in the car and someone to experience all the fun of summer with.
