Secret Santa Challenge #MSMSecretSanta

December 7, 2012
I love Christmas, I love the decorations, I love the Christmas carols, I love the festive family films and I love finding that perfect gift that will bring a smile to the recipients face. So when MoneySupermarket.com asked me if I’d like to take part in their Secret Santa Challenge #MSMSecretSanta I jumped at the chance.

Secret Santa Challenge

Bloggers have been randomly paired up with a Secret Santa partner and have been tasked with selecting a present for them. We have been given a £25 budget and are under strict orders not to exceed this. The present can be something that represents them and their personality or it could be something that they feel their secret Santa partner would love.

Secret Santa Partner

I have been partnered with Ramblings of a Suburban Mummy, for whom I have been cyber stalking for the past week or so to get an idea of likes and dislikes. After much deliberating I decided to try and co-ordinate my gifts with a good night in (can be difficult to find a babysitter so sometimes you just have to make do with a night in). There are four gifts heading her way, fingers crossed she likes them.

Prizes

As if the Secret Santa presents weren’t enough for the participants, there is also an overall prize and runners up prizes for the bloggers who bought the most original, thoughtful and creative gifts! These will be judged by a panel at Moneysupermarket.com and will be announced after the closing date for the final blog posts, which is 31st December 2012.

1st Prize – The blogger who buys the best Secret Santa present according to our judging panel will win the most sought after present this Christmas…an iPad Mini!

3x Runners Up – The 3 runners up will be able to treat themselves this Christmas with £50 High Street vouchers each. These can be spent in many popular stores and restaurants such as Debenhams and Bella Italia

Do you take part in a Secret Santa?

If so, how do you chose your gifts?
