REVIEW: Vital Baby Weaning Set

I’ve been trying to introduce Tigger to self feeding for a little while now.  This journey has led me to try a number of different spoons and bowls.

Finally I have come across a company that works for my needs and Tigger’s Too (like what I did there).

Let me introduce you to Vital Baby, I first became aware of this brand through a weaning pack received from the the Boots Parenting Club which included one Vital Baby soft tip spoon.  As soon as I used that spoon, all other spoons I had for Tigger were donated to charity and off I went to purchase more of the soft tip spoons.

They have over 40 products available to purchase, so something for all ages and stages!

I recently tried out the the Weaning Set.

Available in Orange, Pink or Blue.
The weaning set comes complete with bowl, lid and soft tip weaning spoon.  I love that the tip of the spoon can be stored in the lid, which will come in so handy if you are out and about.

I was surprised at the high quality of the bowl, it was so sturdy and colourful.  There is a lip along one side which is great if you are trying to feed baby and is a nice size that even little hands can hold.

Tigger got on with the bowl really well, surprisingly he didn’t try to pick it up but I’m sure once he learns that he can I’m in for trouble.

The bowl washes really well and can be placed in dishwasher and microwave safe too.  I have had no discolouration on the bowl and no marks have appeared on the bowl either.

The lid is secure enough to transport food in the bowl without fear of the lid popping over and empty the contents all over your bag.

Overall:
I would recommend this set to all new parents, would work from first tastes to self feeding toddlers.  So handy to have in your bag, can be used for snacks or in a restaurant for easy toddler tableware.

I like that it is available in three colours.  This allows girls to be girls, boys to boys and a fab in-between colour.

Price:
£3.99 (depending on where you buy from)
