Make a splash with winter fashion #AldiChallenge

February 6, 2015

The weather over the past couple of weeks hasn’t been fantastic, with the UK battered by rain, strong winds and even snow. Looking out of the window it might not look all that appealing to get outdoors and blow away those cobwebs from staying indoors too long. As part of my next Aldi Challenge I want to show you how you can make a splash with winter fashion, with Aldi Specialbuys children’s winter clothing and accessories available in store from Thursday 12th February – be quick though, because once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Rain doesn’t stop play

The February weather isn’t the year’s best. But thanks to the brilliant rain wear available from Aldi, kids can still get out and about.

Children’s raincoats, £7.99 – Long sleeved, hooded and fleece lined so your little adventurers can get out and about this winter. (Available in 4 designs – 2 girls/2 boys, for ages 3-10 years)

Children’s wellies, £5.99 – Splish, splash and splosh through the rain and puddles with this fun rubber boots. (Available in flowers & dinosaurs for sizes 5-9 and navy/green & butterfly for sizes 10-13)

Children’s umbrella, £2.99 – Keep winter showers at bay with super cute plastic umbrellas. (Available in flowers, dinosaurs, pink or blue)

Keep warm and cosy

When the rain has stopped but the temperature is still low, keep your little ones warm and cosy with a selection of winter warmers from Aldi.

Children’s pack-away gilet, £5.99 – Padded winter warmer with a full front zip and hood complete with pack away bag, perfect to keep at hand for when it turns chilly. (Available for ages 5-10, in either royal blue or navy for boys and lilac or pink for girls)

Children’s high top trainers, £5.99 – Great adventures start with great footwear, these high top trainers will aid your children as they plod through the woods, climb trees and play tag. (Available in pink or black, sizes 10-2)

Children’s socks, £2.99 (pk 5) – If you too have an odd sock fairy who visits your house your children will always be in need of more socks. These are great value cottonrich socks which keep their little toes warm which they are busy exploring. (Available in boys and girls, in a range of 6 designs for sizes 6-2.5)

Have fun indoors

There are times however when the weather forces us indoors but it doesn’t mean that the fun has to stop. With a range of indoor accessories and activities from Aldi your little ones will be kept occupied.

Children’s colour in t-shirt, £3.99 (pk2) – Turn your child into a budding fashion designer with this two pack of t-shirts complete with fabric pens to colour in their chosen design. (Available for ages 3-10 years in either pirate/knight or turbo/monsters for boys and unicorn/animal or hearts/girls for girls)

Design and T-shirt

Children’s cotton onesie, £3.99 – When you have nowhere to go why bother getting dress, instead pop on a onesie and enjoy a PJ day. (Available for ages 3-10 years in 4 designs)

Children’s dress up, £4.99 – Help you kid’s favourite characters spring to life from the pages of their books. (Available in sizes 3-5yrs and 6-8yrs, chose from fairytale girl, knight, red riding hood, doctor or mermaid)

Aldi’s Specialbuys children’s winter fashion and accessories go into stores nationwide on Thursday 12th February but don’t delay, as once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Don’t forget to share your Aldi shopping buys and how much you have saved using the #AldiChallenge hashtag

Disclosure: I am working with Aldi to showcase their range of Aldi Specialbuys, for which I have received a number of products FOC.

I’ve not been to an Aldi yet because our nearest one is 12 miles away. But it looks like very good value so maybe it’s worth making a special trip there some time.

I’m more familiar than the other German supermarket but you have persuaded me to check out Aldi. Some tempting things there – especially the dinosaur wellies.
