Living Arrows Week One {2015}

January 6, 2015

With the heating broken at Roo’s school it meant that Roo gained an extra day off school today – much to the disgust of Tigger as I got him ready for pre-school this morning.

After a morning of attempting to fix our dishwasher and a couple of chapters on Skylanders with Roo it was time to collect Tigger and have some fun. Heading to our local SEA LIFE Centre for a slice of fish spotting (although it is the penguins that they both really love to see) before attempting to burn off some energy in the pirate play area.

A little girl standing next to a fence
Roo looks so grown up in this snap, her hair wild from where she has taken a plait out after being in the bath last night.

A fabulous photo of Tigger if I do say so myself, his cheekiness is shining through with Roo mischievously hiding in the background.

Oh lovely to get a bonus extra day! Although a bit of a nightmare for all working parents!

Thanks so much for your lovely comment on my blog! I’m so glad that I found yours. Whoopee for an extra day off! #livingarrows

Extra day off school! Bonus – although tough for mummy – they look so grown up and like they’re really enjoying themselves

  • Alexandra January 6, 2015 at 10:15 pm

They look like they’re having so much fun. So much joy in their faces. Bet they enjoyed the Sea Life Centre too. Great photos.

  • Pinkoddy January 6, 2015 at 10:24 pm

Oh they grow so fast. I do love the photo of them together at the bottom.

Gorgeous photos and thanks for the reminder. I really want to give it another go this year. I started last year but then lost track and forgot to join in regularly. Living Arrows is such a lovely way to record memories though x

Aww bless them. The second photo is lovely.
A day at Sea-Life is an excellent day off when school goes wonky. I may have to take a day trip to Brighton for this soon!

  • Donna January 6, 2015 at 11:31 pm

Been a while since we went to our local Sea Life Centre, and the boys love it.

Lovely pics, full of life! And soft play is a great way to let off steam isnt it!

  • Amanda January 7, 2015 at 12:54 pm

So glad you made the day so positive. Must take more photos of my girls together this year!

  • Mammasaurus January 7, 2015 at 4:30 pm

    Yay you have joined in!
I find the same with Kitty – if her hair’s down she suddenly looks much older. This make me think maybe I should start wearing mine up!

  • Donna January 7, 2015 at 6:49 pm

Oh they are both looking so grown up! x

  • Cass January 7, 2015 at 8:17 pm

Great photos. Bonus days off are great fun and ones which you can use to make really fun memories too.

  • Hayley at Shutterflies January 8, 2015 at 9:25 pm

I used to love plaiting my hair after the bath so it’d go all wavy. Haha, I’d forgotten that until I read your post! They look like they’re having a fab time! Great to have you joining in with Living Arrows x

Oh such beautiful photos. They both seem to be growing up so quickly. I love the new blog name and look by the way.
