Families craving ways to get creative at home? Here’s food for thought, with an inspiring art tutorial from mouth and foot painting artist Tom Yendell.
In a step-by-step tutorial, learn how Tom draws the burger design with his mouth and applies paint to complete the piece. For any little ones needing a helping hand with getting started, Tom has also created a handy design outline so they can skip straight to the painting. Aspiring Picassos will need yellow paint for the bun and fries, green for the mouth-watering lettuce, brown for the burger, and red for the ketchup and fresh tomato.
Learn to paint series
The tutorial is part of a new ‘Learn To Paint’ series from the Mouth & Foot Painting Artists – an association of artists who paint with their mouth and feet due to physical disability – which hopes to inspire all ages and abilities that painting is possible.
Tom is passionate about helping people to get painting, and most of all, enjoying life – which fuelled his idea for the tutorial. Tom wanted to create something that many people like to enjoy… a juicy burger! (veggie or meaty burgers are all welcome, it’s up to the artist).
