A new look for Boo Roo and Tigger Too

When I started blogging back in 2011, I selected a very simple design from the Blogger dashboard with a pink background.  Slowly as I became more confident with the dashboard I made my own header image using PicMonkey, but it was all very basic.

A couple of years ago the lovely Katie from Pink Egg Media designed my previous image for my site. Which at the time perfectly suited Boo Roo and Tigger Too.  It incorporated Tigger’s love of trains, Roo’s love of ladybirds and my love of purple Gerbera’s.

Over the last few years my site has grown, it has changed and so have I.  In order to reflect this I have been looking at my site for the past few months wanting to change it, make it more grown up and reflect the fact that my children are no longer babies.

In my quest to give my site a makeover I turned to the wonderful Stacey Corrin Design who took my somewhat mis-matched brief, listened to what design features were important to me and managed to find the perfect theme for me.  Using a charming contour trees image my header now looks simple yet elegant and the design incorporates pastel colours from the tree design.

Thank you Stacey for a fabulous makeover and I’d highly recommend her to anyone thinking of doing something nw with their site.

I loved your old header, it suited you at the time, but nice to move on and grow up. The new look is clean, simple ( as in none messy not easy simple) , yet very effective, with minimal wording telling maximum info about who you are and what you do.
Nice colours in the trees coordinates well with your text in the boxes down the RHS.
Onwards and forwards, good luck with the next 4 years.
Mine has not needed to grow up yet thanks to the twins.

Your new header looks more grown up now, just as your family is growing up. It’s elegant and pretty
