Every mother knows that searching for presents for young children with Christmas slowly creeping up on us can be a daunting task (even for the most seasoned of mothers). There are many questions to consider such as what does my child what? Will my child like it? What age group is it for? Is it too expensive? Will it be used after 6 months to a year or will they become disinterested in it when the next new gadget comes out. More importantly actually knowing where to look can also be a significant challenge.

With the run-up to Christmas well and truly on (even if many of us are in denial), it can get us planning, budgeting, and thinking about all that we have to do to really improve our finances. After all, there are only a couple of paydays until Christmas (if you don’t get one just a few days before).
