Living Arrows Week Ten {2015}

Life seems to be passing at lightning speed. Everyday my children are learning something new, whether it is something from school/pre-school, from each other or found something new to watch, read or play with.

This weekend I took the children on the train into Norwich for the day. Heading to the cinema, popping in to see Daddy at work and meeting a children’s author in Waterstones. Throughout the day they walked and walked without complaining, they enjoyed the treats I’d organised and picked up a couple of treats along the way.

However on the way home I watched as Tigger happily sat kneeled in the seat of the train and watched the rails go by. You see for Tigger his biggest thing about the whole day was two journeys on a train, visiting the train station and seeing the different sized trains come and go, and handing over the train tickets to the conductor to be stamped.

    Children do love any type of transport that seems ordinary to us. N loves the train, and the bus, because we only ever go on the latter in Oxford, and the train if we’re going to London. Must take him again soon.

    It’s the day out equivalent of the box being more exciting than the present isn’t it! But I remember how much I love trains when I was little so I don’t blame him for being excited!!

    It’s funny how they love trains isn’t it? We so rarely travel on public transport as we go everywhere by car that the children love going on trains and buses.
