There are one or two weeks left of the school summer holidays, depending on where you are up, down and across the country. Where has that time gone? It’s unbelievable really how quickly it flies. When they break up in summer you think you’ve all the weeks in the world. Then reality hits that you’re quickly running out of days to cash in on that summer freedom.

Dare I say it? It’s Back to School season. Instagram will soon be filled with those ‘in-front-of-the-front-door photos’, Clarks has rinsed us all of our hard-earned cash, and we have name labels ironed onto our fingers. Oh, how we’ve missed it. *Sob*

As the homework starts rolling in, no matter what age your children are, it can really make your head ache. To quote Bob Parr, ‘Maths is maths! Why would they change maths?’ But, of course, they do. And so now you have no idea how to do bus stop divisions and that awful parenthesis thing in SPAG. Well, we may as well resign now.

Luckily, Collins has our backs, as ever. There are times when us parents need to freshen up our academic knowledge. There are times when we need to completely relearn a subject. And there are also times when something is new to us and we just don’t know how to help our children.

Collins study guides not only help children revise for their SATS and their GCSEs, they’re there to give us parents a leg up, too. While we want to help as much as we can, we’ve got to work, we’ve got to clean the house, make the dinner, feed our families. And as much as we might not like to admit it, there are times when we just don’t know.

Collins is here so say, that’s OK. We’re doing a sterling job, and here’s a book bundle to help your kids along the way.

Whether you’re worried if they’ll ever crack starting sentences with capital letters. Or you’re frankly more concerned that they have to write a gazillion word analysis of something written in Old English, there’s a Collins study guide or book to make learning this stuff a breeze.

Let’s breathe. Together.
