BEAR - Hector the hippo finger puppet template

1. Print off the template above and cut out the pieces (or trace them so that you can use the printout again)
2. Using your special templates, cut out of the felt:

  • 2x Hector’s body (front and back) in grey felt
  • His nose in grey nose
  • His 2 ears in grey felt
  • His 2 nostrils in white felt
  • His 2 teeth in white felt

3. Glue Hector’s nose in the middle of the front body shape
4. Using the black felt tip pen draw two eyes
5. Glue the two nostrils onto the top half of Hector’s nose and glue the two teeth underneath his nose
6. Turn his front body over and glue two spots on the top of the body shape so they are overlapping a little – these are Hector’s ears
7. Glue around the side and top edges along the inside of Hector’s (the bit you can’t see, it lets you hide all the messy bits) leaving the bottom edge free, and stick the front to the back
