Christmas Guide: Baby (0-24 months)

November 18, 2014

Buying for babies can be so difficult, they grow and change so much at this age so what do you buy them for Christmas? Well if you were to ask my Mum she would say a cardboard box and fill it will wrapping paper as that is generally what they are most interested in come Christmas morning. Alas a cardboard box isn’t a very interesting Christmas gift idea so let me share my Top Christmas Gifts for Babies with you…

Baba + Boo T-Shirt & Shoes Gift Sets

Buying cute outfits for little ones is one my must do list, even now and my children are 4 and 8 years old. Whether you are finding a cute top, a funky pair of slippers or the must have nappy wrap, something that will make them look just that little bit more adorable.

This Christmas head over to Baba+Boo to check out their range of gift sets, which include T-shirt & Shoes, T-shirt & Nappy or Nappy & Shoes. Or why not grab a funky t-shirt or two and don’t forget to check out their range of adorable bandana bibs.

Baby Baba + Boo T-Shirt & Shoes Gift Set

Price: £22.50

Wooden Push Along Toy

When I was a little girl I can remember having a push along toy, it was a musical drum that would chime and tinkle as I pushed along the floor. When I became a mum I also sort out push along toys for Roo and Tigger, which provided them with hours of fun. So if you are looking for a cute push along toy for a little on in your life, I urge you to take a look at these wooden push along toys. They make a clutter as they are pushed along and look adorable.

Baby - Wooden Push Along Toy

Suitable for 12m+ and available in 4 lovable designs – Monkey, Pony, Penguin and Rabbit, all hand painted with their own cute characteristics.

Price: £11.99

Where to buy:

Cuddles Time Reindeer

Tigger has a reindeer that we bought him for his first Christmas, that reindeer is still going strong and makes his way into Tigger’s bed every night. Cuddles Time Reindeer is the perfect present for little ones who are mad about Rudolph this Christmas. With his bright red nose and stripy legs and arms he’ll become a cherished cuddle companion for many Christmases to come.

Baby - Lloyds Pharmacy Cuddles Time Reindeer

Price: £3.99

Where to buy: Lloyds Pharmacy

Baby’s First Christmas Towel

Celebrating baby’s first Christmas is a big deal, yes I know that they won’t remember it but hey parents want to have some amazing photos to pull out when they are older.

The Fine Cotton Company have a fabulous range of gifts but the one I love the most is their Baby’s First Christmas Towel. A silky soft hooded towel that will keep baby warm and cosy after a bath. Plus it is something that can be passed down to siblings or kept for when they have their own children.

Price: £36.00

Where to buy: The Fine Cotton Company

VTech Baby – First Steps Baby Walker

If there is one toy that both Roo and Tigger loved as babies it has to be the VTech Baby – First Steps Baby Walker, each receiving it for their first Christmas (just 8 weeks old). Once they were sitting the First Steps Baby Walker came into it’s own with removable play panel which allowed them to interact with the sounds and lights. Then when they finally decided to start walking (later walkers!) they could hold on to the walker and toddle around the room.

Price: RRP £29.99, although usually on offer for around £20.00

Where to buy: Amazon (affiliate link), Argos and all other good toy retailers

Jingle Belly Christmas Dinner

Ella’s Kitchen has teamed up with Charity Kids Company to help provide meals for hungry and vulnerable children across the UK. At least 30p from each of our ‘Jingle Belly Christmas Dinner’ pouches will be donated to Kids Company, for food for the children and their families on Christmas Day.

Providing the perfect meal for little ones from 7 months +, Jingle Belly is literally a special Christmas dinner in a pouch – sprouts and trimmings included!
