Back to school pamper time

September 21, 2013

With Roo back at school, it is only now when I have a chance to slow the pace down after the hustle and bustle of the summer holidays that I realise just how tired and worn out I truly am. Usually within the first few weeks of back to school I get ill as I have run myself down over the summer trying to cram in as many activities and days out as possible.

Luckily for me Fragrance Direct understand the need for mums to enjoy a little extra pampering after the back to school rush. Whether you have just had a busy summer or whether you have waved little Jimmy off to school for the first time, most mums will agree that a pamper session would be most welcomed.

Running off to the nearest spa unfortunately isn’t an option for me so being able to order from the Fragrance Direct website which sells more than just gorgeous perfume is the perfect solution. So I want to share with you my ideal pamper pack in the hopes I will inspire some of you to add a little pampering into your lives too.

Grace Cole Boutique Orchid Amber & Incense Bath Soak 500ml

First up it all starts with a simple bath… however no bath would be complete without a heap of bubbles. By adding a luxurious but inexpensive bath soak to your usual bath it will instantly make it feel that bit more inviting. Although I would recommend hiding the bottle at the back of the bathroom cabinet or you’ll soon find that everyone in your household is suddenly queuing up for a bath.

Decleor Aroma Confort Nourishing Body Milk 250ml

After enjoying a relaxing soak, hopefully without anyone knocking at the door that they suddenly need the toilet just as you start to unwind, applying a nourishing body milk will help keep your skin soft, nourished and looking it’s best.

Macadamia Healing Infusion Set

My hair is always under attack from both the British weather and my GHD’s so adding a healing oil spray to wet hair and brushing it through with a good brush really does make all the difference.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Gift Set 15ml 50ml

I have to be honest and think that you needed to be a ‘certain’ age before you bought Elizabeth Arden products but after having used the eight hour gift set I am a convert. The intensive daily moisturiser and lip balm really helped to keep my skin soft even after braving the autumn showers to to the school run. (It’s currently half price so I recommend you grab yourself a bargain)

Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum Spray 60ml

After all that pampering you need to finish off with a few sprits and sprays of your favourite perfume, just like the lovely Jimmy Choo, Jummy Choo eau de pardum. So with me relaxed, soft skin, lushious locks and smelling beautiful I wonder if I can convince Mr Boo to take me out for a lovely meal??

Disclosure: I received the above pamper items from Fragrance Direct FOC for the purpose of review (and a pamper session).
