Say Happy Father’s Day with the Star Wars mini-build books

June 10, 2016

As you get older you suddenly realise that it isn’t the stuff that children remember about their childhood it’s the experiences they had. Making memories are what life is all about and what better way to make memories this Father’s Day by treating Dad to one of the Star Wars mini-build books that they can sit down with the children and build together. Something that they will remember and recall when they are older ‘remember that Father’s Day we helped you make a Star Wars model‘.

Egmont have recently released two fabulous Star Wars mini-build books, Star Wars: Battle Stations: Activity Book and Model (the model is a mini ATAT) and Smuggler’s Starship: Activity Book and Model (the model is a mini Millennium Falcon) which are the perfect gift for Father’s Day priced at just £8.99 each.

We’ve been sent both books to have a fun-filled Father’s Day with Mr. Boo. So earlier this week Mr. Boo and Tigger sat down to take a look at the Star Wars: Battle Stations: Activity Book and Model book which contains a range of activities as well as a foam board ATAT model to build.

Whilst they looked at the activities included within the book it was, of course, the ATAT model that they were interested in building. A look at the 12 step instructions it looked relatively straightforward to build and as they constructed the ATAT Roo took photos of the different steps (I think she did quite well with her photos).

I had decided to leave them to it and allow them to have some bonding time with Mr. Boo, I could hear a mixture of giggles and ‘no Daddy you’re doing it wrong‘ from Roo with Tigger joining in with ‘pass it here I’ll do it‘. So funny to sit back and listen to them working out how to construct the model with three pairs of hands all wanting to help.

And the finished model…

Book and Star Wars

So this Father’s Day when you are thinking about what to buy your other half from the children, I would highly recommend one of the Egmont Star Wars mini-build books then sit back and watch the fun unfold.

Don’t forget to join us on Father’s Day as Roo and Tigger give Mr. Boo the Smuggler’s Starship: Activity Book and Model book, I’ll be sharing the Millennium Falcon model via my Twitter page
