Primary school admissions {2015}

April 16, 2015

Dear Tigger

Today was a day that I had been marked on our calendar since October. The day when we would find out whether you’d be joining your sister at her school come September, staying at the school you attend pre-school at or worst case scenario you would be attending a completely different school.

Despite some councils notifying parents at midnight and throughout the morning, Norfolk county council decided that they would enjoy the power that they held over the families anxiously waiting to find out the news. Finally the email came through at 3.10pm…

The school admissions team have decided that you will be joining your sister at her school come September when it transforms from a Junior school to a Primary school.

I shared this news with Roo upon collecting her from school this afternoon and she was so pleased to hear that you’d be coming to her school. If I’m honest the prospect of only doing one school run in a morning and afternoon is looking every appealing come September.

So my cheeky but ever so cute little boy, it’s time to start learning to do a few more things by yourself in preparation for starting school.

Love you Mummy xox
