Living Arrows Week Fifteen {2016}

Last weekend Roo attended her very first Cub Scout camp. After helping me check off everything on her kit list it was time to drop her off. Of course, it was raining when I dropped her off, it wouldn’t be camping without a bit of rain. She grabbed her rucksack and headed off for her tent with a quick cuddle before she left.

The following morning I went to collect her, and could she from her face that she was tired. Declaring that she’d had a good time although was cold. She survived her first camping trip and can’t wait to go again.

    It feels as though she has changed overnight, I need to find the pause button and hold on to my first born for a little while longer

    Brilliant! I hope she had a fabulous time. My mum was a Cub leader for a long time and my dad a Scout leader so I went to my first Scout camp when I was 10 weeks old! I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to join – it’s such a great organisation to be a part of.

    I think the outdoors is fantastic but really can’t stand the cold. I’ve told myself it will be glamping for me in the future. #MyCapturedMoment
