The first book I ever bought for Roo was The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The classic story that I remembered from my childhood was one I was keen to share with my daughter. With her copy well read, I have gone on to buy new copies of the book for both Tigger and Piglet. To this day it remains one of Tigger’s favourite books and can recite it word-perfect.
It’s not just my family that loves the Eric Carle book. Over 44 million copies of the picture book have been sold – that’s one every 30 seconds!
The magic of the classic story has been captured on film and now in a new clothing line. A beautiful collection of the Very Hungry Caterpillar babywear available in Sainsbury’s. Available in sizes up to 12 months, there is something for everyone in the unisex collection.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Clothing Range
The unisex babywear collection includes:
Available in your local Sainsbury’s store and online with prices starting from just £2.50
Whilst Piglet is approaching 18 months (how can this be?) she is a tiny dot so comfortably still wears 9-12 months clothing. Luckily for her as the Very Hungry Caterpillar collection goes up to 12 months with the romper being the perfect item to enjoy the summer sun in the garden. The mock t-shirt and shorts romper has popper fastenings under the legs with additional poppers on the back for ease of dressing.
