Giggling Squid // Christmas Lunch Menu

The Giggling Squid Christmas lunch menu (£20.95 per person) includes highlights such as the aptly named bags of gold; filled with tender chicken with finely chopped vegetables sprinkled with a hint of spice, wrapped and lightly fried to perfection. The grilled garlicky prawns are also destined to be a hit, with easy-to-peel shells, served in a beautiful Thai garlic sauce that is both moreish and delicious.

New main options include tasty Thai-style pork hock; cooked slowly until tender in a lovely Thai gravy and served with stir-fried Tenderstem broccoli. A winter green curry, made from Thai aubergine, butternut squash, and creamy coconut milk, offers a welcome vegetarian alternative to a nut roast!
For the perfect sweet hit, you can choose from impressive newcomers including malted honeycomb semi-freddo and prosecco and muddled berry cheesecake – well ‘tis the season.

Giggling Squid // Christmas Evening Menu

From 5pm, Giggling guests can indulge in the Christmas evening menu (£29.95 per person), and will be greeted with a cold, crisp glass of fizz on arrival. Exclusive evening dishes include the giant prawn satay grilled in mild spice and served with homemade peanut sauce and super fresh A-jard dipping sauce. Meat lovers need to look no further than the beef rib Massaman served on the bone with baby onion, potato, carrot and sweet, nutty Massaman sauce; the combination of flavours truly do melt in your mouth. Oh and don’t forget the Pork ribs cooked in a three flavour sweet chilli sauce – guests are absolutely encouraged to get their fingers messy! The warm molten chocolate cake is a decadent dessert that you must find room for; after all, it does come with a touch of spice to ward off the cold at the end of the night!
