Most children want to give their children all the things in life they never had. For me, I always wanted to go to dance lessons but unfortunately it was not an option. So when Roo came along I said to Mr Boo that I would love to send her to dance classes. I don’t want to become a pushy mum, packing her off to competitions and recitals, I want her to attend for the fun of dancing. Roo has always been a mover and shaker, she can often be found dancing and twirling around her room.
Recently I have been looking into local dance classes, location, times and cost. One thing I am so looking forward to is seeing my little girl in her dancing attire, but where can you buy dance clothes? AlexandAlexa have a lovely selection of dance clothes, let me show what I have my eye on…
BLOCH Pink Short Sleeved Leotard – £11.00
There were several different leotards to chose from but I thought that the short sleeved one would be more versatile than say a sleeveless or long sleeved option.
BLOCH Pink Crossover Skirt – £11.00
In my mind’s eye all little dancers wears tutu’s but I realise that these may not always be that practical for everyday practicing. This cute little crossover skirt still gives that added modesty when they have their leotards on.
FREDDY Pink Dance Tights – £10.00
I just love little girls in tights, it makes them just look adorable. Not only do they look great but add a little more modesty when they are dancing and twirling around.
BLOCH Pink Wrap Bolero – £12.00
The finishing touch to any dance outfit has to be a wrap bolero, cute and practical.
Oh no, I’ve just spotted that they do the above clothes in lilac too; does a girl need both pink and lilac?

Do you children partake in activities you wished you could have done when you were their age??
