Last week I was very fortunate to be one of the first set of people to see the launch of the new Bratz range. The core Bratz dolls, Cloe, Yasmin, Jade and Sasha, return along with the newest member to their group of besties, Raya.
Bratz are back!
Back in 2001 when Bratz were first launched they were the top toy for three years running. To give you an idea of scale they held a bigger percentage of the market than Barbie!
Attending the event with Mandi from Hex Mum and her oldest daughter Xene we were shown around the different ranges that are available in the coming months. As well as the opportunity to make our own lipstick and get our hair braided (I passed on the braiding as I wasn’t sure I could pull it off). As Roo has never owned a Bratz doll before it was my first chance to see just what you get from the Bratz range which has been updated for 2015.

Up until now the Bratz phenomenon had passed Roo by, that was until I came back from the launch and she was busy looking through my photos from the day. Suddenly she has a wish list especially of the Bratz Study Abroad range as she liked the idea of the different countries.
The first impressions of the new Bratz range are very positive, I’m loving the different packs especially the #SnowKissed and sleepover sets. The main thing that struck me about each of the sets are that they are a complete playsets in one. Each one coming with your chosen doll, accessories and stickers allowing your little one to open it up and play without needing more than one pack – although I’m sure that they will still want more than one of the new playsets.
The new Bratz collection is priced from £14.99 and available from Argos and all other good toy retailers.
Disclosure: We were invited to attend the Bratz launch and received a goody bag for attending.
