This is a featured giveaway

Escape rooms can often be seen as an adults-only activity as they can take on grown-up themes and high difficulty ratings, however, this is not the case as there are a variety of rooms aimed at bringing the whole family together. In particular, Spy Heroes at AIM Escape in Central London is a brilliant family-friendly escape room.

In this escape room, you are transported into the world of an international super spy, as you go undercover to help your spy friend, James, who has been kidnapped by his arch-enemy Mr Supervillain! This theme really channels the feeling of being in an action movie and is exciting and appealing to both kids and adults alike.

Spy Heroes is suitable for ages 6 and up, meaning that all the family can come down and get involved. Kids will love interacting with all the gadgets and gizmos in the room whilst helping solve the puzzles which are presented as ‘spy tasks’, and include messages to decode and systems to hack! However adults should not let the theme and gadgets fool them, there is still a lot of brainpower required when playing this room. You will love having problems to figure out yourself whilst also helping your kids try to as well. The room is fun for the whole family.

One of the main features that makes this room such a great family activity is the laser maze, where players will have a task to complete while ducking and diving around a room filled with lasers to avoid! This is a super fun and interactive feature and one that is not often found in many other escape rooms. It allows kids and adults to get more active and breaks up from the rest of the hour which is spent testing your brains.

At AIM Escape, they have a focus on being a premium escape room brand, using high levels of immersion and involvement to achieve this. The use of technology, strong storytelling and hyper-realistic set design helps bring something extra to our rooms. This is shown particularly in the Spy Heroes room as there is an advanced level of technology used. This room doesn’t use the traditional escape room method of finding keys and unlocking padlocks, the technology takes it to another level. This includes the use of video calls to narrate the story and keep it moving forward, as well as other features which will make you feel like you’re an international spy.

Escape rooms, in general, can provide real benefits to families. It allows you to come and work together, communicating and helping each other in order to beat the room. The Spy Heroes escape room really does allow all members of the families to get involved and experience these benefits, and with the theme and the puzzles, everyone will enjoy it!

And if you don’t believe us then look at one of the 5-star reviews from Tripadvisor:

A great morning escaping from the Spy Heroes room. We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 11 & 13 and this room was a great introduction for them – friendly staff and high-quality game – I would definitely recommend.”
