It gets you two-day, and sometimes one-day delivery for free. Just check delivery prices anywhere else to see what an amazing deal that is. You will also get access to their streaming video library as a nice cherry on top. Of course, you already knew that because you love to buy things from Amazon. 

What you might not know is that you can use Amazon to make money and not just spend money. Amazon is one of the most successful and used sellers in the world. Their customers are extremely loyal. And like Apple, Amazon has millions of debit and credit cards on file belonging to customers eager to make another 1-Click purchase. Can you say the same about your customers? I’m guessing you can’t. That doesn’t mean it has to stay that way.

You can tap into Amazon’s money-printing machine in a few different ways. Furthermore, it is a lot easier than you think. Here are a few ways to leverage the power of Amazon for your existing business, whatever it happens to be:

Become an Amazon FBA Seller

If you have any portion of your business that can be productized, it is worth doing it if you can find the market. Amazon is the market. Fulfilment by Amazon is the secret sauce. And it is a lot easier than you think to plug into the system and become an Amazon FBA seller.

You already know how powerful that label is because when you shop on Amazon, you will skip over the same item at a lower price to get the product proclaiming it is fulfilled by Amazon. You know what that means to you as a customer. It can be the same way for your potential customers. When they see that symbol, they feel confident that the product will ship on time and intact. They know that if anything goes wrong with the product or shipment, it is backed by Amazon and everything will be handled in a fast and friendly manner.

When all those 1-Click customers see that your product is fulfilled by Amazon, they associate you with all the good experiences they have with Amazon on a daily basis. If you don’t already have an eCommerce arm of your business, it is worth developing one.

If you are a bakery that serves a limited geographical area, you can expand your business by selling cookbooks with your best-selling recipes. The world of people who will never be able to order anything from your bakery will be able to become your customer all the same. It is trivially easy to publish an Amazon book and make it available to all of the countries Amazon serves. It will cost you nothing upfront. If you don’t have the skills, hire a ghostwriter and get your book out there.

The most important thing you need to succeed with an affiliate program is the right affiliation. You can become an Amazon affiliate partner and get a social link you can post on your website. From there, you will get a small percentage of everything people purchase through that affiliate link. You probably won’t get rich via an affiliate program. But you will have the ability to make a nice side-business from the effort. It costs you nothing. If you have a website or blog, you are leaving money on the table by not being a part of the Amazon affiliate program.

Even if you are not spending money with Amazon, you can still make money from them by being an FBA seller, writing a Kindle book, and being a part of the Amazon Affiliate Program.
