A Postcard From… Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary

April 8, 2018 No Comments

There are days when Tigger does something completely unexpected. The days were he will try a new food or step outside his comfort zone. Take our visit to Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary, he was first in line to hold the millipede. Carefully sitting down, holding his hands out and welcoming the animal of many legs into his comfort zone. Just double checking with the ranger that it wouldn’t bite him, then he was happy.

A Postcard From… Norwich Assembly House

For the first time in a number of years we attended the Christmas Pantomime at Norwich Theatre Royal. Whilst it was a late night for Roo and Tigger, I don’t think I’ve seen Tigger laugh so much in a long time. On our way back to the care we walked past the Norwich Assembly House and fell in love with their Christmas trees all lit up in the darkness.

A Postcard From… Hirsty’s Family Fun Park Pumpkin Patch

We started a new Halloween tradition this year by visiting a pumpkin patch to select our own pumpkins before taking them home to carve. We opted to visit Hirsty’s Family Fun Park Pumpkin Patch, having enjoyed the Maize Maze over the summer. With a range of sizes and shapes to choose from, Tigger obviously decided that one that was a big as the wheelbarrow would be perfect – although guess who had to wheel the wheelbarrow back through the field??

Bill’s Restaurant, Norwich // Children’s Menu

October 19, 2017 No Comments

Living in Norwich gives us a wide variety of options when it comes to entertaining the children.  From visiting the cinema to see the latest release, stepping back in time in Norwich Castle or the Museum of Norwich, or simply looking around the numerous shops.  No matter what the activity is that has brought us into the city centre, the children will always be requesting food.  With tired feet, it is nice to sit down, take a load off and enjoy a family meal together.  Bill’s restaurant is a perfect venue for this, especially with their amazing children’s menu.

Middletons Steakhouse & Grill, Norwich

When it comes to visiting restaurants with the children we tend to stick to ones that we have previously visited.  This is down to ensuring that the menu holds something that Tigger will eat and partly down to us being conscious of other diners when the children are playing.  One of the restaurants that Mr. Boo and I have wanted to visit for a while is the Middletons Steakhouse & Grill, Norwich.
