Sea Life aquariums across the UK will be taking visitors on a mind-blowing voyage of discovery this half-term in a brand-new Stars of the Sea experience starting Saturday 10th February.
Youngsters and their families will dive deeper beneath the waves than ever before to meet the ‘superstars of the sea’ in a whirl of hands-on activities, exciting games, breath-taking displays and jaw-dropping fishy facts.
Meet the ocean’s most cunning octopuses and find out how these masters of disguise bend the laws of nature to make themselves invisible during an interactive mission to discover; who is Sea Life’s most intrepid traveller, who makes the perfect partner in crime, who can give an Olympic swimmer a run for their money, who has fins sharper than a surgeon’s razor, and much, much more.
Children can also take part in Sea Life’s new giant sea discoveries game, navigating through a life-size version of ‘Stars and Ladders’ to solve puzzles with fishy clues to jump ahead and foil their foes to win a Stars of the Sea certificate.
There’s also plenty on offer for older kids, couples, and adults, exploring sunken cities, looming shipwrecks guarded by majestic shoals of sharks and mystical underwater caves brimming with weird but wonderful creatures.
For light relief, guests are advised not to miss the aquariums’ comical penguins as they waddle about their business, as well as dropping in to see Sea Life’s families of resident otters, whose cheeky antics can provide endless entertainment.
Sea Life’s all-new Stars of the Sea experience takes place from Saturday 10th February at aquariums in Birmingham, Blackpool, Manchester, Great Yarmouth, Hunstanton, and Weymouth.
The event is included in the normal admission price for each attraction. Customers are asked to note that the Stars of the Sea experience, creatures and displays may vary between Sea Life aquariums. Dates may also vary according to local school holiday times, so pre-booking is strongly advised and multiple savings can be found at www.sealife.co.uk.
