Nutmeg Children’s Clothing Designed for life!

February 1, 2015

Earlier this week I was invited down to London to see the Nutmeg Spring/Summer preview, the fabulous children’s clothing brand from Morrisons. A brand that I was already familiar with as Roo especially loves their range of girl’s clothing, having quite a selection from their AW14 collection. Including a wonderful red jumper with a black heart on it that she has worn repeatedly throughout the past few months.

I was intrigued to see what the Nutmeg SS15 collection would include for the warmer months (if the British weather plays ball). The new collections are split into three waves (phases if you will), a dress for less collection that is available in stores now, with the picnic and sugared almonds collections being released in early March 2015.

Outfits for less

One of things that Morrison’s prides itself on is making money go further. This spring they are helping mums and dads dress their children for less with outfits starting at just £6.00. With a range of outfits that will help keep your little ones warm whilst looking super cute.

The good thing about Nutmeg children’s clothing is not only are they cost effective, they wash well, keep their shape and can mixed and matched with items across the range.

Picnic

Possibly my favourite range from Nutmeg this upcoming spring/summer season. The fun prints, bold summery colours and key pieces that can be worn with anything else from the range and still look fabulous.

This collection is inspired by fun family days out and the primary colours of summer. Prints include beach huts and fun characters, to transport you to a summer day at the seaside.

With range available in stores from the 2nd March 2015, it is a great way to grab a few pieces alongside your weekly shop ready for the warmer weather to arrive.

Sugared Almonds

A more classic collection in my eyes the soft, subtle colours are perfect for children to wear everyday, at parties or even a special occasion.

This collection is based on a small palette of sweet colours, which look as though they’e been bleached by the sun. Soft, calm and relaxed, it’s like holding a handful of sugared almonds – hence the name!

Older children I think benefit most from this collection as they look a bit more sophisticated, grown up in the paler colour palette, available in stores from the 9th March 2015.

I can’t wait to see the new collections in store, Roo has already earmarked what she would like me to pick up and Tigger has spotted some Batman swimwear that I hope will encourage him to have a splash around. My only quibble with Nutmeg clothes is that I wish that the younger children’s collection was available in a larger age group as I know that Roo would some of the designs from that collection.

Disclosure: I was invited to attend the Nutmeg SS15 preview and received a goody bag.
