When it comes to purchasing board games, we often think in terms of the whole family rather than just Roo or Tigger. However, Roo has recently expressed a wish to have more ‘girly’ games available, especially for when she has friends over to play. One of the games she spotted whilst compiling an Amazon wish list was The Enchanted Ball board game.
Megableu The Enchanted Ball Board Game
All the princesses of the kingdom want to go to the ball! When the music starts, if you’re lucky, the prince will choose you to dance with him around the ballroom. He will reward you with a star.
The first to receive four stars will be forever in his heart…
- Game board
- Electronic musical dance floor
- 4x Princesses
- 16x Coloured stars
- Sticker sheet
- Rules of the game
- Requires 3x AAA batteries (not included)
- Suitable for ages 5 years+
- For 2-4 players
The Enchanted Ball game is a relatively simple concept. Select a princess, roll the dice to go around the board. When you make it up onto the ballroom floor, hope that the Prince selects you as his dance partner in order to win a star. The first person to collect 4 stars wins!
The Megableu The Enchanted Ball Board Game is priced at £14.99 and is available to buy from Amazon and all other good toy retailers.
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
Roo enjoyed this game, one that she can easily set up and play with her friends. The pieces are a little small and there is nothing to store the items in other than within the box so we have added a resealable food bag to ensure the stars don’t go missing etc.
Many will have a problem with this game as it is quite old fashioned in that prince is selecting a princess to dance with. However, I prefer to think of it like Cinderella and all the other princess stories we have shared with our children. Whilst the prince must select your princess in order to gain a star, the object of the game is to gain stars and that is what we should focus on.
