LEGO Brick Storage Drawer: A Place For Everything

Regular readers of my blog will understand just how much Tigger loves LEGO.  A pastime that he has inherited from his Dad (who has a LEGO induced case of Peter Pan Syndrome), he can happily spend hours building sets or be creating his own masterpieces.  With a bookcase in his room showcasing some of his favourite sets, these are not to be touched with express permission.

Now that he is starting Year 2 at school and homework, reading and maths requirements will be increasing I have been looking at ways to make this inviting for him.  With a desk already set up in his room, it has been more of a dumping ground rather than a space for creativity.  This is something that I have been looking to change and find products to encourage him to sit down, complete activities and tidy up after himself.

The LEGO Brick Storage Drawer from A Place For Everything (what a wonderful website name!) has been a helping hand in transforming his desk into a creative space.  With the LEGO brick storage drawers being stackable, it is something that I can add to as time goes on. Introducing a filing system (can you tell I worked in administration?) for his pens, pencils, papers and craft supplies.

LEGO Brick Storage Drawer

Just like the original Giant LEGO Brick Storage Boxes, the LEGO Brick Storage Drawers are officially licensed by LEGO and are faithful reproductions of the world’s favourite bricks in design and LEGO colours but massively scaled-up!

These handy storage drawers come in several sizes and the contents of the drawers can be instantly accessed without having to unstack and restack these inspiring LEGO storage drawers.

LEGO Brick Storage Drawer // A Place For Everything

With the addition of the LEGO storage brick (and a lot of tidying) his desk is starting to look and feel like a space he can go and be creative.  Whilst he will need access to pens, pencils and craft supplies, I’m hoping that by having these stored away in the LEGO bricks it will leave the desk space open and clutter free.  For his birthday later this year I think I will add in one of the large LEGO storage bricks and stack the medium one on top.  This will give him three individual drawers to organise his belongings, which can easily be taken out and brought into another room if required.

I love that these are stackable. There is nothing worse than stepping on a piece of lego so any options to store them away easily gets my vote!

I love that idea. We’re Lego fans too but are quite a number of years away from homework and needing desk space. I hope these are still available when the time comes!

We love these storage boxes, too. We have a couple of them – one for each child – and I’m always surprised at how much they can hold. And they look good, too!
