Every year we send more and more Christmas cards but how much thought do we put into them? Selecting a pack of the shelf and popping into or trolley? The most important factor to which one you select is probably price.
So when I was asked by Getting Personal how I get creative at Christmas I thought I’d share my why make your own funky Snowman Christmas cards this year. They fantastic Christmas gifts for family, friends and teachers. A fab cheap way to make your own personalised Christmas cards.
What you will need:
White paper plates
Felt tip pens
Scissors
Glue

Optional materials:
Buttons
Old material
Handful of raisins
Step 1
Take one paper plate and fold in half

Step 2
Glue two coloured buttons as eyes, I personally prefer to use button s as they give added depth to the card. You can opt to draw and colour some eyes into the plate
Step 3
Cut a long thin triangle from old material and glue as the Snowman’s nose, alternatively you can draw and colour a carrot shaped nose.
Step 4
Glue 5/6 raisins along the semi circle on the plate to form the Snowman’s mouth, you can achieve the same look by drawing black circles and colouring in.

Step 5
Fold another paper plate in half and cut around the inner circle. Open and stick one half of the circle to the black of your card to form a hat for your Snowman.

Step 6
Using old material or felt tip pens add stripes your Snowman’s hat.

Your Snowman card is now ready for you to add your special message inside.
