My Little BABY born First Love

May 10, 2017

Whilst I don’t want to get into the debate about whether only girls should play with dolls. After having my own children I can see that my girls have a preference towards dolls. Just like I did as a child Roo followed in my footsteps and loved playing mum to her baby dolls as a little girl. As we moved house last year she carefully sorted out all her baby dolls and their accessories, to be put away for when Piglet is old enough to play with them. Not quite ready to part with them, although the act of passing them down to her sister was adorable.

Piglet is now a toddler, wandering around and interacting with lots of different toys. She has always had a thing for her soft cuddly toys which she will pick up, give a cuddle and tap three times on the back. Whenever we are out and about she always takes an interest in other babies. So now felt the right time to get her, her first baby doll – my little BABY born First Love doll.

  • Rattle inside the body
  • Doll length 30cm

Instead of just handing Piglet her new BABY born First Love doll, I placed it inside Roo’s old baby doll’s basket in her nursery. As she woke from her nap she was amazed to see it laying in the basket and was keen to join the baby doll in the basket.

Hoping inside the basket allowed her to give the baby doll a big hug and explore her features too. From the soft pink sleepsuit to it’s molded facial features. From soft arms and legs to the cuddly body.

The size and weight of the BABY born First Love doll makes it easy for toddlers to pick up and carry around with them. The soft body and limbs mean that they are able to play without worry of it hurting if they drop it on their toes (or on your toes). Complete with detailing on its sleepsuit it offers little one’s interest and a way of playing with their older siblings too (Roo has discovered a new love for her old dolls!).
