This Christmas sees the premiere on Channel 4 of a wonderful screen version of much-loved children’s book ‘We’re Going on A Bear Hunt‘, by Michael Rosen. We will be wiggling into our wellies, wrapping up warm and step into the snow for the wonderfully wintry animated adventure in We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. The 30-minute adventure will be shown on Christmas Eve at 7pm, with a repeat on Christmas Day at 5.25pm.
We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
Based on the bestselling book, which I am sure has been read many, many times – I know we have enjoyed the story over and over again. The We’re Going on a Bear Hunt film follows the intrepid adventures of siblings Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max, the baby and Rufus the dog, who decide one day to ‘catch a big one’ and set off on an expedition in search of bears.
With an array of actors providing the voices to the characters, along with the author Michael Rosen channeling his inner grizzly as the bear. The hand-drawn animation by Lupus Films, the team behind the classics of The Snowman and The Snowdog, and executively produced by Walker Productions.

Sitting down to read the book together, before completing the activities and trying out the app. Then popping on our Christmas pyjamas, snuggling up to the Aurora bear plush as we settle down to watch the 30-minute film on Channel 4.
