Wrapping the Christmas presents – How to make things easier

When it comes to preparing for Christmas one of the things on my priority list is wrapping paper. Whilst almost everyone wraps their presents (unless you are a gift bag kind of person) I like my wrapping to be organised. As well as being organised, I like to dedicate wrapping supplies to each recipient to make my life and the task of wrapping gifts that bit easier.

Simple Christmas crafting ideas with STABILO Stationery

Christmas is one of the best times of the year to be creative, with so many ways to craft items for the home or to give as gifts. For most of these ideas showcased on Pinterest, you do need to have a degree of creative flair. However, if like me, you are lacking a little lustre in that department. Let me share with you some ways that both you and the children can be crafty and creative without too much effort.

Family Games Night | The Very Merry Christmas Game

The Very Merry Christmas Game is the Family Game of Presents, Crackers, Christmas Songs… and Sprouts! Watch out for the two dreaded sprout cards as they could have a bad effect and make you lose out… The player with the best presents at the end of the game is the winner. All the joys of Christmas in this one box!

Willows Activity Farm | Santa Spectacular

The Santa Spectacular programme is a full day out of festive family fun and the child ticket price includes all the activities and shows plus a visit to Santa and being able to choose a gift from his Toy Shop, making a toy bear in the Create-a-Character workshop and biscuit decorating.

What Piglet Wore | Belle of the ball

For some of us, finding that perfect festive outfit can be somewhat of a challenge. Having an idea in our head of what we would like to wear, the style, the colour etc. You can trawl the shops, your internet search history has variations of look you are hoping to achieve. But nothing that we come across ticks all the boxes. However, for Piglet, her special festive party dress was spotted back in July – how I wish I could be that organised!

The one with the friends’ gift guide

When Friends burst on to our screens 25 years ago, I don’t think anyone realised just how much it would be loved by that generation. Or go on to be loved just as much by the next generation. I can still recall the excitement of what would happen next and discussing it at school as the different storylines unfolded.

Four gifting principles | The preschooler edition

The four gifting principles is a simple approach to adding things onto wishlists, however, with a little extra thought going into the items that are added. Taking a look at the item that they are wishing to add and seeing whether it falls under one of the four categories. After which thinking whether or not it is something that they will utilise or just adding it just because they can.
