When did you last receive a bouquet of flowers?

June 4, 2015

I think secretly all women love receiving a bouquet of flowers. I know I do although I’ve always told Mr Boo not to buy me flowers in the hope that he would surprise me some just because he wanted to.

So when Flora Queen recently got in touch to see whether I’d like to receive a bouquet I wasn’t going to refuse. Heading over to their website I was surprised to see so many different designs of bouquets to choose from. Trying to narrow my choice down to just one bouquet was difficult but once I saw the purple haze bouquet I knew that was the one for me – especially as it contains gerberas (my favourite flowers).

Arriving beautifully hand-tied from a local florist I was overwhelmed at the size of the bouquet. Although I was a little disappointed to see that the bouquet was more of a pink haze than a purple haze. With a mixture of pale lilacs and white flowers rather than the deep purples with the occasional white stem that I saw on the site when I ordered.

Nevertheless the bouquet was still beautiful and contained a good selection of flowers and foliage. Complete with a sachet of flower food to be added to the water in my chosen vase to help keep the flowers looking their best for longer.

I’ve had the bouquet for almost two weeks now and it is still going strong with only a water top up needed.

The deluxe purple haze bouquet I received costs £53.00 with delivery included to the UK, although you are able to send flowers all across the world with Flora Queen.

Disclosure: We received a deluxe purple haze bouquet FOC for the purpose of review.
