With Spring just around the corner, this month I thought I would do a little spring cleaning when it came to my reading lists. With a few books still there waiting patiently for me to download and enjoy. So I’ve been making an effort to put different lists together and cross at least one from each list across the month.

Do you make reading lists?

What I’m Kindle Reading in March…

Loving The Enemy by Mia Faye

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This is the story of Andre and Eliza. They met in a club and spent the night together. After that night he left and she never knew about him. After a year, she moved to Texas to complete her Master and ended working as an intern in his company. After misunderstanding and clarifications they reconnected and began to have fun again, no strings attached. But they ended falling in love with each other.

The story is packed with intrigue, action, passion, love, friendship, a lot of elements to define the whole story. I loved the way the author created a story that is not a normal love story, the story is so interesting that you can’t stop reading. There are unexpected events, action, hit-men, treason, I mean, an amazing plot! Tissues needed for this one!

Love and Lockdown by Alyce Caswell

Rating: 2 out of 5.

I really wanted to like this book more than I actually did. The idea of love and lockdown appealed with the forced proximity that many of us are facing. However, I couldn’t buy into the chemistry between the main characters, with Angela grating on me towards the end especially the way she acted towards Colin.

An easy read if you are looking for something light to escape to.

You’ve Got Mail by Kate G. Smith

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Not the book I originally thought it would be interested in, it was more focused on the self-discovery of the main character rather than love.

Grace works for a window distribution company and doesn’t exactly love her job but does the minimum to get by. A Dear John email lands in her inbox one Friday which sends her into a spin as she doesn’t have a boyfriend plus sending an email to finish with someone is just mean. After discussing it with her friends she opts to reply to the email on Monday.

In between getting sent on a work conference to land a client with the sales playboy, she emails back and forth to Mr Obnoxious (as she has called him). Falling for the charms of the playboy, a sexual assault from the new client, secrets and lies lead to Grace completely overwhelmed.
