Thomas & Friends Trackmaster Breakaway Bridge Playset {Review}

April 17, 2015

It’s no big secret that Tigger adores Thomas & Friends and has managed to collect quite a few of the Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play trains and playsets. As he is getting older Roo’s old Thomas & Friends Trackmaster playsets have made their way out of the loft after Christmas and Tigger has been enjoying the next step up on his Thomas & Friends journey.

The Thomas & Friends Motorized Playset includes a Thomas Trackmaster train which has the new cog style rear wheels which allows the train to connect with the trackmaster track much better than previous models. This enables Thomas to climb up hills and in this case whizz around the breakaway track with ease.

The simple loop track with run off track allows it to be used on its own, connected to other trackmaster sets or let you imagination run wild by designing your own track with addition of other trackmaster track you have at home.

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…

Setting up the track for the first time was straightforward  and the pieces clicked together easily. After popping in some batteries into Thomas he was placed on the track and off he went – it was wonderful to watch the look on Tigger’s face as he made that maiden voyage around the breakaway track. Tigger is really loving the new Trackmaster trains and more so now that they are able to climb hills much better thanks to the improved wheels.

The price tag of under £20 makes this playset a great birthday or Christmas present or even something that they can save their birthday money up for.

Disclosure: We received the Thomas & Friends Trackmaster Breakaway Bridge Playset and Samson Trackmaster engine FOC for the purpose of review.
