Friends to lovers romance

Ten years ago Theo and Lauren became friends after she dated his roommate in college. Fast forward to the present day and they are best friends. In contact with each other daily, spending time with their wider friendship circle and staying over at his apartment at weekends – just as friends. They know so much about each other’s lives – except the confession that they are both secretly in love with each other.

After a friend suggests they set each other up with blind dates as they know each other so well they opt to pick dud dates rather than taking things seriously not wanting to find love for the other. However, when they are set up again this time on a double date they realise they can’t hide their feelings for each other and sleep together. Knowing that commitment probe Theo is likely to be freaking out, Lauren opts to play things as friends with orgasms rather than putting big labels on things.

Whilst they non-date each other they appear to be getting on well. But a family wedding has Lauren overhearing Theo’s thoughts on their arrangement and instead of him coming around to the idea of a future together he declares he is single – sending Lauren fleeing and questioning whether she needs to give up her ling-held feelings towards Theo, Can they ever be more than just friends?

Sebastian Prescott has been on a self-destruction mission for the past few years. Stemming from his childhood if he was honest but the gambling, the alcohol and the fighting have increased recently. So when he is fired from his VP marketing position after his employee Kayla complained about the amount of work she’d been completing on his behalf. Even managing to smirk at him as he is lead out by security.

Whilst Kayla never meant to get Sabastian first she was happy to step into his shoes as VP marketing even though her new boss might just be as bad to deal with as Sebastian ever was, just in a different way. Cursing him for the corporate retreat she has been landed organising. Which goes from bad to worse when she finds that the ski resort retreat has Sebastian as the snowboard instructor. The sexual tension and frustration are palpable especially when Bastian decides to mess with her carefully laid plans and play tricks on her – getting her in hot water with her new boss.

Heading out to clear her head Kayla is unaware of the storm warning and injuries her ankle, Taking refuse under a spine tree praying help will come, except it is Bastian who arrives and carries her to his cabin. Working through their issues they give in to their chemistry but with Bastian still working through his past misdemeanours can they make this work?

Working for grumpy Max Prescott isn’t exactly a barrel of laughs for Willa no matter how much she is attracted to him. A wonderful night where Willa gets to see a different side to Max and one where he confesses that he has been attracted to her since she first started working for his company.

Max is emotionally unavailable believing that he shouldn’t let anyone close as they will only get hurt. Pushing Willa away the following morning is difficult for him but believes it is for the best. Attempting to ignore the tension between them at work. With Willa taking the lead on a new ‘Blind Date’ app seeing employees take part in the beta testing. Matching Willa and Maz together with 98% compatibility, not knowing who each other are.

Forming a friendship via messages they each confess they aren’t looking for anything as they are hung up on someone else (if only they knew). Divulging secrets about their lives they lean on each other for support, banter and someone who understands complicated love lives. But what happens when they discover the truth? Are all of their secrets shared? Or is Max still hiding in the past?
