The summer holidays are just around the corner and we have been playing what we will be getting up over the coming weeks. With a mixture of days at home, days out and trips to see family and friends there is one recurrent theme that is attached to most of these days – packing a picnic.
Summer picnic essentials
There is something about filling up a basket full of food, grabbing a blanket and a couple of cushions (I need to be comfortable when I sit down especially with my growing bump – I’m loving the selection from House of Fraser at the moment) before heading out the door. Whether it is just to enjoy lunch in the garden, heading to the local park or travelling further afield.

Personally I like to make sure I have the basket ready with all the essentials ready to simply add the food so I can be out of the door as soon as possible and enjoying the time with the children.
