I have to admit to being slightly envious of the relationship that exists between Roo and Tigger. With four years between them I was worried that they might not get along as they would be at different stages in their lives. And whilst they have their moments of bickering, winding each other up and he said/she said moments on the whole they really are each others best friend.
Their relationship is something that I wish my siblings and I had, however we are all so very different from each other that we lead separate lives. My hope for my children is that they will remember the closeness that they have now and that it continues throughout their childhood and into adulthood.
Even the transition back to school has cemented their bond, each happy that they are within the same school and able to wave hello at various times throughout the school day.
