SEA LIFE London Rainforest Adventure
The expedition starts with the rainforest at dawn in the Rangers Hut and makes it ways through the Deep Rainforest, the Riverside Research Camp, a Rainforest Swamp and ends in an Abandoned Camp.
Through the experience, visitors are led by the virtual Rainforest Ranger, ex-paratrooper and TV adventurer, Andy Torbet. The rainforest expedition will add a bonus educational element to a fun-filled family day out. learning about the fascinating animals on display, their natural habitats and the importance of conservation.
With over 50 species to discover including the world’s heaviest spider, The Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula. As well as the UK’s largest population of Red-Bellied Piranhas, Bowser the Snapping Turtle, thousands of Hissing Cockroaches and many more.
SEA LIFE London Rainforest Adventure // Interactive Family Fun
With three children in different age groups finding activities and attractions that will occupy them all can be difficult at times. The SEA LIFE Centre, however, appeals to all three of them for different reasons. With the interactive element to the attraction always a great hit with them.
The new Rainforest Adventure enables them to become rainforest rangers and explore the wonders that lay within the undergrowth and waters. With a mixture of creatures to discover and learn facts about. Alongside getting the chance to get up close to them in glass domes without actually having to touch them – Although there are regular sessions throughout the day to see bugs and spiders up close with the assistance from the SEA LIFE Rangers.
We managed to visit the Red-Bellied Piranha area in time for feeding – which was fascinating and a little bit gross all at the same time. Tigger was especially captivated and had lots of questions about what was going on, what type of food they like to eat etc. Piglet, however, was more interested in the display of piranha models where you could see if you were brave enough to put your fingers in their mouth – with one of them blasting out a shot of air which made her jump the first time around… then continued to go back to it time and time again.
The Rainforest Adventure is a great addition to the SEA LIFE London attraction.

The Rainforest Adventure at SEA LIFE London is a permanent addition to the attraction and is included in the entrance price. Entry starts at £26 per adult, £21 per child (3-15 years) with discounts available on multiple attraction tickets or Merlin Annual Pass purchases.
